My favorite science experience was realizing that science is about exploration and curiosity. As an ecologist, I get to spend a lot of time watching nature. I observe the behavior of birds and the ways that they interact with their environment. As a scientist, I have the privilege of being paid to explore some of the most interesting and beautiful creatures on the planet.
