In small groups (or individually), students will read a Natural Inquirer or Investi-gator article and write a letter to the scientist, asking for clarification on at least four questions. This lesson plan can be followed with the Forest Poems Lesson Plan, linked below in the Educator Guide tab.

Note: This lesson plan can be used with any Natural Inquirer or Investi-gator article and was originally published with the Wildland Fire 2 edition of Natural Inquirer.
