    • Artemis I was the first uncrewed flight test of NASA’s deep exploration system. Onboard were a variety of tree seeds flown around the Moon. These tree seeds will later be grown into seedlings and distributed nationally to support Earth science, data literacy, and conservation education.

    Apollo 14 Mission

    • Apollo 14 was the eighth crewed mission for the Apollo program and the third to land on the Moon. During this mission, NASA astronaut Stuart Roosa carried tree seeds around the Moon. These seed were later planted on Earth and became known as Apollo Moon Trees.
