It is difficult to pick just one experience; science can be really fun (most of the time!). So if I have to choose just one, it would be tracking moose through the snow to find their fresh droppings! I collect the moose poop then analyze it for a number of elements back in the laboratory. This allows me to better understand how moose interact with their habitat. A moose’s habitat is the natural area in which it lives.
