My favorite science experience has been the opportunity to use data from our shark
population monitoring program. This program keeps track of shark populations and applies the information to management plans. These plans promote the conservation and management of sharks in the Gulf of Mexico. In this photo, our team is sampling an adult tiger shark. I am on the left, closest to the camera.
