    • Stan Krugman used his expertise to determine which tree seeds to send into orbit aboard Apollo 14. To make sure the trees were well taken care of, Krugman helped determine which tree species each organization should get based on their location and climate conditions.

    • My job is to help plants grow. At the oldest Federal tree nursery, we produce 1.5 million seedlings and 1.5 million container trees every year. These seedlings are sent to national forests for planting. I am recieving some of the Moon Tree seeds to help grow them into seedlings before being distributed.
