emerge
(i mərj): To become known or visible.
emission
(ē mi shǝn): Something emitted or discharged, usually into the air.
emissions
(e mish ens): Something discharged or sent out.
emit
(ē mit): To throw or give off or out; to send out.
encompass
(in kǝm pəs): To include or surround.
endangered
(in dān jǝrd): Threatened with extinction.
endangered species
(in dān jǝrd spē sēz): A plant or animals with so few individual survivors that the species could become extinct in the area where it naturally lives.
endemic
(en de mik): Originating or growing or found especially and often only in a certain locality or region.
endorsement
The act of approving openly.
enraged
(en rājd): Filled with rage; angered.
enrichment
(ǝn rich mǝnt): The addition or increase of some desirable quality, attribute, or ingredient.
entomologist
(en tə mä lə jist): A scientist who studies insects.

environment
(in vī rә(n) mәnt): The surroundings where a person, plant, or animal lives; the living and nonliving things that are a part of the natural world.

(i kwā zhǝn): A statement of the equality of two mathematical expressions.
equator
(i kwā tər): An imaginary circle around the middle of Earth at an equal distance from the North Pole and the South Pole.
erode
(i rōd): To wear away by the action of water, wind, or glacial ice.
erodible
(i rō də bəl): Able to be worn away by the action of water, wind, or glacial ice.
erosion
(i rō zhǝn): The process of deteriorating or disappearing by wearing away.
