A partnership liaison builds relationships with individuals, organizations, agencies, and private groups. They work with the communities, partners, and volunteers to get people involved with the Forest Service and reconnect them to their public lands.

Drones have become a very useful tool in our monitoring efforts for some of our postfire restoration sites.
The Four Peaks Restoration Project. An area in Tonto National Forest burned in 2020. This was not a fire-adapted ecosystem and would likely not recover without a little help. A large group of volunteers helped clean up the area and replant with native plants. Now there is an ongoing native plant relocation project for that area!
The minute I realized that my job was project-based. I LOVE projects, science, and events! Working with the community on issues that matter most to them gives life to this position and fresh breath to our agency. Let’s do this thing!
