My favorite science experience was living in New Zealand for 6 months. While I was there, I worked with scientists to discover what people living in New Zealand can do to reduce their wildfire risks. What I learned in New Zealand has helped me work with communities in the United States so that they can adapt to living with wildfire. This is a photograph of me in New Zealand.
