    (ha bə tā shən): The act of inhabiting or living in a place.

  • manipulation

    (mə ni pyə lā shən): An action that moves or controls something by hand or by using a machine.

  • primeval

    (prī mē vəl): Belonging to the earliest time (such as of the world or human history); primitive.

  • primitive

    (pri mə tiv): Belonging to or characteristic of an early stage of development.

  • solitude

    (sä lə tüd): The quality or state of being alone or remote from society.

  • untrammeled

    (un tra məl[d]): Unrestrained; free.
