Lesson Plan – Inquiry 3 from World’s Forests 2 Edition
In this lesson plan, students will categorize the ecosystems services provided by forests into productive, protective, social, and economic benefits. Students will then use the findings of the scientists in Inquiry 3 to compare and contrast different countries' and regions' percentages of ecosystem services provided by their forests. Students will also explore the idea of multi-use forests and how the idea of multi-use may impact people's understanding of forest benefits.
