Reflecting on 2024 and Looking Ahead to 2025

SHARE

As 2024 draws to a close, we at Natural Inquirer have been reflecting on this whirlwind year.

We’ve been working for years (over 25 at this point!) to make quality science education materials based on reliable, published research. But we still run into lots of people who say, “I’ve never heard of this! And you mean they really are ALL free?!”

The launch of the new website in March was a game changer. We’re enjoying the new layout and search capabilities as much as you are. And judging by all the orders our intrepid distribution team has filled, ordering has never been easier!

Some product highlights of the year?  A new monograph based on a fascinating civic science project, a Reader in honor of Smokey Bear’s 80th birthday, and new scientist cards!

Communicating with everyone has gotten so much easier. Thousands of people have signed up for our newsletter, and our educator blog (that you’re reading right now!) has become a great tool for sharing all our free resources with everyone.

We always want to hear from you, too! Share with us how you’ve used Natural Inquirer in your classroom this year.

We’re excited to share with you all the new things debuting in 2025, too. We’ve been working on several new projects behind the scenes. Here’s a sneak peek:

  • On the website: a new bookmarking feature and sharing capabilities, plus a distraction-free reading mode with our newest monograph
  • A new virtual learning adventure – Ecosystems LIVE! – coming in February 2025
  • A new set of career cards to add to our collection
  • A new wildlife monograph about tracking mammals in residential yards

Thank you so much for using the Natural Inquirer and sharing us with friends and colleagues. We’re wishing you all a wonderful holiday season and a restful, peaceful end to 2024.

See you in 2025!
