Frequent users of our website might have spotted some recent updates we’ve been working on. Our collector cards have gotten a new look!
You can still browse all our cards from the Resources menu. From there, you’ll find a list of every current card – there are even a few new ones that we’ve just published.
Choose a person from the list and click on either their name or “View Collector Card” to see the new format. (You can also still access the person’s profile page and downloadable card and poster from this location, too.)
In this new format, modeled on our distraction-free reading view for articles, their photo is front and center. All the card information is there in clickable boxes. Want to know when they knew their career would be a good fit for them? Click on the box to find out!
You can still access their profiles (where you can find out more about their work and see what other Natural Inquirer articles they might be featured in) and their downloadable cards and posters from this page.
A Deeper Dive
Want to learn more about other people who work in related fields? Click on the purple topic buttons beneath each person’s name to find others who work with insects or active forest management. Want to take a deep dive in careers? Check out our Career Exploration page where you can browse all kinds of different careers by topic or field of study.
We hope to continue to create new career-focused resources for students of all ages, so this redesign is just the beginning. And while our card packs are currently out of stock, you can still snag an assorted set in our sample pack (while supplies last, of course). Additionally, the cards are always available to download and print as cards or posters for free!
